Andrea suggested this rug but I thought it might be too dark at first. She was right — the colors of the rug are gorgeous...day or night. I'm so happy Andrea strongly suggested that we go with the rug.

Andrea helped us select this (Jennifer) Hollack abstract artwork for over the fireplace. It is perfect! Andrea's eye for details and design sparked our interest initially, but her organization and professionalism sealed the deal. The entire process has been seamless from start to finish, and the final product is fabulous. We love our family room.

This great room's design plan had to incorporate its prominent architecture — a bank of French doors and a stone fireplace. Tailored window panels frame the woodlands view and functioning sheers diffuse the light when closed. The commanding fireplace gets its due with bold artwork and comfortable seating close by. With the family's lifestyle in mind, the main seating area faces built-in cabinets, housing — what else - the television.

"We love this warm, cozy space. Andrea Houck really understands color and how to use it to create just the right feel. The pop of tangerine adds some excitement, which is what we wanted. We weren’t too sure when Andrea suggested a shag rug, but we trusted her judgment and are really glad we did – that rug is a big hit with everyone, including our dog."

"When I met Andrea Houck and we embarked on this journey of redesigning my home, I didn’t know what my style was. Andrea knew how to draw it out of me. She asked a lot of questions about my likes and dislikes and ultimately helped me find my style. For the first time, my home reflects my personality. I love coming home to it every day."
